Getting involved as a parent at STS

GRADELINK

Gradelink

At St. Theresa school we use Gradelink to ensure parents have full up to the minute access to their student’s grades.
Gradelink is a fully integrated online grading, attendance, and school administration system. Gradelink works over the World Wide Web and can be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection.
Teachers can enter grades, attendance, and can instantly monitor student performance from school or at home. Student and class reports are easily created. Time consuming tasks of calculating final grades, deficiency reports and creating report cards are handled simply and automatically.
Parents keep track of their child’s progress by viewing grades, assignments, attendance, and conduct reports. Bilingual support for both English and Spanish. Transcript information can be accessed and parents can set up Automatic Grade Monitoring, which sends email alerts about their student’s current progress.
The goal of Gradelink is to provide a simple but powerful system for schools to streamline record keeping. All information is instantly updated to a centralized database. Teachers can enter grades at home, on the weekend, via the internet. This information then becomes instantly available to the administration staff, who can include it on report cards Monday morning.

PARENT INVOLVEMENT PROGRAM LOG

Parent Involvement Program (PIP)

Thank you for your volunteering your time to assist in your child’s education at St. Theresa School! We appreciate your help.

The purpose of this form is to record all hours worked toward the PIP requirement and to allow parents to log their required volunteer hours from home. PIP hours are earned in half hour (.5) increments. The requirement is 40 hours per family or 20 hours for a single parent family. If hours are not earned by the end of the school year, you will be billed $60 per unearned hour!

Please complete and submit this form for EACH volunteer activity individually. PIP points are earned per family and not per individual student. We ask that you enter the last name of your YOUNGEST child only.

If you have questions about the PIP requirements or where you might volunteer, please contact Mr. Keno at michael.keno@stsps.net or call the school office. If you need assistance in completing this form, do not have regular internet access, or need help using a computer, please contact Mrs. Kennedy at maureen.kennedy@stsps.net.
